Ecommerce
Ecommerce is a whole different arena than retail establisments, and as such require their own special solutions. Luckily, we have
all of the pieces necessary to create or enhance an ecommerce site. In order to sell you products online you are going to need four things
in one form or another.
- Website - You can't sell online if you are not online. This doesn't necessarily have to be your website, you can sell things on eBay, or
another online marketplace.
- Payment Gateway - A payment gateway allows you to accept credit card orders online and process them. This service is almost always provided with a
merchant account or an ecommerce store builder.
- Shopping Cart - You will need this service to allow the customers to comunicate with the payment gateway. This also will keep track of the orders
you have made and what the shopper currently is ready to buy.
- Merchant Account - After you accept the credit cards you need someplace for the money to go. A merchant account is a special bank account for the deposit
of credit card purchases.
